What are the major differences between Christianity and Shintoism(Japanese Religion) in medieval times?

Shintoism in the middle ages was no longer as it had been in it’s infancy. At this point Buddhism and other religions from the Asian continent had started to intermingle. Shintoism deals with present and purity of energies found in nature. Where as Christianity is about self loathing of the body and Shintoism as a pagan religion is about bodily purity and appreciation of the human form in it’s pure form uncorrupted by trappings of negative energies. I’m not really an expert on shintoism as I only know a little bit about it. Sorry I wasn’t much help in all likilihood.
